Life is now getting back to normal, or as normal as it can. First let me tell you what I was told by my doctor....
I am cancer free!!!!! I can not begin to tell you the weight that was lifted from my shoulders when I heard those four simple words. Now I hope that you better understand why you have not seen or heard much from me of late. The last 8 months have been an emotional roller coaster as you can imagine. And if that is not enough I have been in a crueling custody battle for my youngest daughter.
The latest, and perceived to be the last, chapter will end this July with a trial. That will conclude the most emotionally draining year of my life. Between having to drive back forth every other weekend between Pittsburgh and Chicago along with all that I had to do with my surgery there hasn't been time for much else.
I have not missed a day of work through all of this so something had to be left out and unfortunately I had to neglect my friends here. I am glad that you have all stuck by me and given up. I will be around a little more than I have and may even get a chance to get some new pics posted....LOL!
Thanks again for all the well wishes that I received here and via email. I cherrish the friendships that I have made and look forward to meeting new peole as well.
